B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Beech King Air

B1 LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEER - CONTRACT - DORSET - GREAT RATES!

The maintenance and repair of CFI King Air and other aircraft/equipment as directed. The control of allocated resources and the supervision of engineers as necessary to enable the above purpose to be met.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Liaise with those departments necessary to complete the tasks allocated to them.
- Carry out tasks to the best of their ability, supervise and certify any work within the terms of their Company authorisation in technical logs or on Company worksheets/work cards.
- Ensure compliance with published Company Procedures.
- Awareness of and compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Complete worksheets/work cards as soon as the task is completed and writes any additional defects found on to additional worksheets/work cards and hand the completed worksheets to the supervisor.
- Notify their supervisor of any serious defects immediately that are found.
- See that all test equipment used in their work is currently calibrated.
- Carry out any other task as instructed by the supervisor.
- To be particularly responsible for the maintenance of aircraft allocated to his/her control by their supervisor or Chief Engineer.
- The movement of spares to and from Stores.
- The ground movements of aircraft assigned to them by his/her supervisor.
- Requisitioning engineers in conjunction with his/her supervisor of other disciplines to an aircraft as required and to co-ordinate them into the activity.
- Assuming overall responsibility for all trades engaged in work on an aircraft they has been allocated.
- Defining, co-ordinating and being present at all occasions requiring hydraulic system and/or engine ground run functional testing of aircraft systems.
- Assuming direct control of documentation of aircraft under their control in order that they may assure themselves that all required entries are promptly and correctly recorded.
- Assisting their supervisor in monitoring the performance of staff under their control including, attendance, timekeeping, sickness etc.
- Other tasks as directed. Ensure his/her areas of supervision are kept clean and tidy at all times.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- EASA Part 66 B1 Licence with unrestricted type ratings on Beech King Air 200 and 300.
- Flight Line commercial or military within 6 months minimum 3 years.
- Valid driving licence/Security cleared.
- Physically fit to undertake inspection tasks on and around the aircraft.
- Self motivated and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communicator.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good team player.
