Job Overview:

-Responsible for developing custom applications, system interfaces, reports, web parts or webapplications to support the business.
- Working with end users to create specificationsthen writing code based on those specifications. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that is eager to take on new tasks and is able to meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Analyzes end users data needs and develops user oriented solutions which interface with existingapplications
-Develops custom reports to pull data from ERP system
-Designs systems, programs and coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of user manuals
-Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new programs/system
-Provides input to Business Analyst(s) to prolong system life or to recommend timely replacement
-Assists operations staff in the setup, testing and support of applications
-Recommends improved operational procedures to maximize systems efficiency; provides guidance to solving complex operations malfunctions
-Ensures system integrity, assists in installation of technological upgrades
-Communicates effectively with users of Information Systems services while prioritizing conflicting demands and maintaining established scheduling for completion
-Recognizes processing/programming inefficiencies and recommends improvements
-Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

-BS in Computer Science or Management of Information Systems or related field( 4 Year degree in other degrees also considered).
-3 years programming experience in a Microsoft Dynamics AX/Axapta or comparable ERP software
-Experience with web based technologies and languages such as Java, .Net, C#, or Visual Basic
