AWS Java Microservices Developer x3 - Consumer Goods - Amsterdam

3x AWS Java Microservices Developers required for a major Global Consumer Goods brand as they look to build out their next-generation of Consumer facing services, further expanding their Digital footprint.

The successful recruits will work directly with the Product team to design and build the next generation of features and Cloud-based Microservices using Scrum, Devops and TDD. It is also expected that these hires will have a strong Automate Everything and Continuous Delivery focus as well as experience with Domain Driven Design as well as Monads and Functional Programming (such as Scala).

Requirements

- Hands on AWS experience to include DynamoDB, EC2 and S3
- Continuous Delivery, Domain Driven Design and TDD
- Java 1.8 including experience with monads/functional programming and Spring Boot.
- Understand the difference between unit, functional and exploratory testing
- Experience with serverless is a huge plus
- Build Tools such as gradle/mvn and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Circle CI or TeamCity
- DevOps ie you are capable of supporting your code in production
- SDLC with experience in Scrum
- Any experience of Consumer Goods, eCommerce or Retail would be a major plus!
