Stott and May have been engaged by a Global company to secure a highly experienced AWS Architect with an understanding of EMR on a contract basis.

They are going through a large scale change and transformation to their IT environment. The AWS Architect will play a key part in building out their functionality and scalability within Big data EMR. However the AWS Architect will also be working on some of the most exciting and forward thinking projects on the market right now.

The AWS Architect will be responsible for playing a key role within the companies re-platforming and PAAS design on Cloud (AWS), with an understanding of containerization - Docker etc.

Key responsibilities for the AWS Architect:

- Responsible for the design and implementation of automated infrastructure across the business
- Big data and EMR
- Working within a team of Devs, DBA's and other technical teams
- Champion the best processes across the business
- You will have a strong passion for DevOps and working in an agile Environment.
- Someone who knows AWS inside out and has built out in it

Key Skills:

- AWS
- DevOps
- Amazon Web Services architecture and Big Data EMR.
- Docker/swarm/kubernetes
- Scripting knowledge
- Ansible/terraform.
- knowledge of Microservices
- API Architecture.
