AVIATION SAFETY MANAGEMENT & AIRWORTHINESS REGULATORY SPECIALIST - GATWICK

Assist general aviation in the oversight and coordination of all current oversight activity in both aviation Airworthiness and Flight Operations but more importantly, proactively managing and leading the general aviation Safety and Safety Management oversight for the unit and the implementation of performance based regulation across all general aviation oversight activity

To directly support General Aviation Unit in leading work in developing the framework for safety regulation for UK General Aviation in balancing the requirement to enhance safety whilst embracing a risk based and proportionate regulatory approach in line with better regulation principles.

Using the developing general aviation policy framework to delivery to ensure that the regulatory regime for the general aviation sector will take a different path and be less onerous to that applied to the commercial aviation sector.

The focus for this post will be the oversight and coordination of all current oversight activity in both general aviation airworthiness and flight operations proactively managing and leading the general aviation Safety and Safety Management supervision for the unit and the implementation of performance based regulation across all general aviation.
