Automotive Software Engineer

Automotive Software Engineer wanted to join prestigious car manufacture for a long term rolling contract based in the Midlands.

The Automotive Software Engineer will support the Control Engineers with control software development and testing, supporting calibration activities problem investigation and resolution.

The successful Automotive Software Engineer will have the following Skills and/or experience:

* Strong understanding of embedded control system development using Simulink and TargetLink
* Knowledge of engine control systems and engine hardware
* Familiar with running of engine test facilities / HIL / SIL / vehicles
* Strong personal behaviours, team work and effective relationships, to guide the team in delivery
* Experience of calibration and control of automotive control units
* Analysis and presentation of test data
* Understanding of model based (i.e. Simulink) automotive control systems
* Analysis and presentation of test data Report writing
