Automotive Camera System Testing & Tuning Engineer / Image Quality Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a highly motivated Image Signal Processor (ISP) Testing & Tuning Engineer / Image Quality Engineer (m/f) for automotive camera applications.

Job Description:
+ Contribute to the definition and implementation of objective and subjective metrics into camera evaluation methodologies/procedures for lab and real world testing of Camera Monitor Systems (CMS)
+ Analyze and debug image quality issues on different platforms and work with Image Quality team to come up with optimal solutions
+ Provide feedback and image quality reports to management, hardware, software and research teams
+ Image Signal Processor (ISP) tuning
+ Sensor characterisation
+ Display testing

Must haves:
+ Graduate in electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent
+ Good understanding or proven experience in Image Signal Processing / Digital Image Processing algorithms and technologies
+ Knowledgeable on lighting, whether artificial or natural and how it affects image and video quality
+ Familiarity with Image Quality metrics (SFR, color, etc.) and software (Imatest, etc.)
+ Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Matlab)
+ Detail oriented and strong interest in photography
+ Strong command of English
