Automotive Brake & Safety Systems Technician Job

AUTOMOTIVE BRAKE & SAFETY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Testing, development and application of automotive brake and safety systems
- Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving to diagnose most mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical system failures
- Ability to identify new testing methods and be able to setup, program, and utilize the new techniques for testing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Utilizing technical skills to troubleshoot and provide resolutions to improve product's braking performance
- Thoroughly monitoring and explaining test plans, results and analysis to interdepartmental personnel
- Completing work on electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Willingness to travel to perform duties at a remote site that requires overnight stays for 6 days at a time (company paid travel/lodging expenses)
- More than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry successfully performing work on brake components and safety systems
