Automation Engineer (PLC/Scada/BAS) - Zuid-Holland (South Holland), Netherlands

The Automation Engineer is responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining automated systems (PLC, DCS, Scada, BAS) in compliance with cG (a)MP requirements.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain automated systems for all manufacturing and utility systems.
Acts in a troubleshooting role to find the root cause and propose a solution.
Develop (commissioning) protocols, test plans and reports, and documentation to implement, maintain, operate and validate of (cG(a)MP) automated systems.
Support automated systems during development, startup and validation.
Program and/or configure the automated systems as required for new applications, modifications, and projects to existing applications where required and approved.
Ensures that the execution of modifications have no risk for any impact on the product quality and have no or minimal impact on the Master Production Schedule.
Managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of new automated control systems.

Education/skills:

Education
- Bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline (level: HBO), cG(a) MP training, safety training, Process Excellence training.

Proven knowledge of Centocor's standard automation systems (Scada: Wonderware, PLC: Siemens, BAS: Priva TC)
Skills
- Highly result oriented, fluently in English, excellent communicator

Minimum Experience
- At least 4 - 6 years experience in process engineering in chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry.

Non Technical Skills and Additional Details:

Excellent knowledge of English, both written and oral
Preferably excellent command of Dutch
