Automation Engineer- Delta V

2 Automation Engineers required by a world leading biopharma company to work on their Major biotech expansion project in Belgium. These are 6-month contract roles or until December 2017.

- The new facility is to be designed around the specific process requirements of a pioneering product.
- The Facility comprises an existing bulk manufacturing facility and associated infrastructure.
- The intention of the project is to create supplemental site manufacturing capability.

The Automation Engineer will be part of the project start -up team and responsible for Process Control Systems qualification, Code Review, and Programming to ensure the PCS code operates as it should.

- Engage with the Engineering company and client construction teams to review and approve the field installation (as per design) at mechanical completion.
- Generate/Review systems documentation (commissioning procedures).
- Engage with technical support functions (ie process, automation etc.) to resolve issues quickly as they arise through Commissioning execution.
- Review Code to ensure PCS operates equipment processes to clients requirements.
- Programming of the code if required.
- Training of operations personnel in system operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have Biopharma experience.
- Must have commissioning experience!
- Must have Equipment Experience required - Media Prep/Bioreactors (single use)/Centrifuge/Upstream Process Development.
- Experience with start-up projects.
- Experience with Computer Systems.
- Emerson Delta V System competency.
