Specialist testing opportunity with a tier one consulting firm providing services to a end user financial services firm to be part of a significant transformation program. We are recruiting for an AUTOMATION AND PERFORMANCE TESTING SPECIALIST to work within a PMO structure and perform specialist software testing activities across various project streams within a greater program.    

ON A DAILY BASIS YOUR ROLE WILL SEE YOU:  

- Maintain and develop skills and understanding of relevant developments in Information Technology, Quality and Testing disciplines.
- Provide QA and Software Testing services to the business and business systems.
- Adopt and ensure the application of Quality and Testing assets in line with industry best practices, industry standards and as appropriate for the organisation.
- Development of Testing assets, providing predictable, repeatable and maintainable software quality outcomes to meet, or better exceed, stated business needs.
- Provide controlled and accountable testing assets appropriate to the organisation and in line with agreed strategies.
- Provide input to solutions, estimates, strategies and specifications as required by various bodies within the organisation.
- Configure, maintain and execute manual and automated testing of applications, where feasible and appropriate, adopting proscribed standards, methods and policies.
- Analyse, collate and report on test outcomes, as planned, directed and required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, INDIVIDUALS WILL HAVE:

- Extensive experience in AUTOMATION AND PERFORMANCE TESTING.
- EXPERIENCE WITH TOOLSETS - QUICK TEST PROFESSIONAL (QTP) AND HP LOADRUNNER.
- Demonstrated high level proficiency in the task of software testing.
- Strong understanding of the role of software testing and all testing events throughout development life cycle.
- Demonstrated systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and close attention to detail.
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to deal with complex issues, think broadly and laterally. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
