AutoCAD Technician - Civil/Structural

3 Month Temporary Contract*
Competitive rate (depending on qualifications & experience)

*Although this is a 3 month full-time Contract, after the initial Contract there may be an opportunity for the Contract to be extended depending upon workload.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Educated in a Civil Engineering discipline to BTEC (Level 3 or higher), but unqualified experienced and capable candidates will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE
• An experienced Civil/Structural AutoCAD Technician.
• Experience of working for a UK based consultancy or Local Authority is essential.
• Competent in the production of AutoCAD drawings and in preparing details and schedules for a wide range of construction materials including steel and reinforced concrete.
• Experience with 3D CAD or Revit would be advantageous but not essential.

THE ROLE
As an AutoCAD Technician you will work on current projects and be given the opportunity to utilise and develop your skills and experience whilst working on a wide range of civil, structural and environmental projects throughout the country.

The role includes translating Engineers Designs into accurate drawings.

THE PERSON
You will be a reliable professional who is able to manage conflicting deadlines effectively ensuring high attention to detail and accuracy is retained throughout. You will be keen to work in a design office environment and to embrace new technology as it comes available to improve the efficiency of producing design information.
