FrontierMEDEX, based in the United Kingdom, is an international company providing medical support services to clients operating in remote or hazardous environments worldwide, both on and offshore. The company is involved in a variety of field logistics activities.

ELG FZE, FrontierMEDEX's exclusive manpower agency, is now inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Australian Doctors to provide medical and welfare support to crews on board seismic exploration vessels operating offshore Australia.

Working on a rotational basis doctors provide primary and emergency healthcare to all personnel on board. Duties may include First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. The successful candidate will also be responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, clinic management, general administration and computer based reporting.

Experience/Qualifications:

Minimum of three years' post medical qualification experience; preferable but not mandatory to include remote site and/or pre-hospital experience
Current Australian medical registration
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification or equivalent
OPITO approved BOSIET offshore safety and survival training, including HUET and EBS
Good levels of health and fitness
Computer literacy
Occupational Health experience preferred but not mandatory
