FINANCIAL AUDITOR POSITIONS

LEEDS OR NEWCASTLE BASED

3 MONTHS CONTRACT

RATES: £250 - £310 PER DAY

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role gives you the opportunity to work on a broad range of clients across a number of sectors including infrastructure and construction, real estate investment and development (corporate and funds) and the variety of the UK's services sector.

The client base includes FTSE 100 and 250 companies; private companies and funds.

- You will be working in teams to deliver quality work to a variety of clients.
- You will also be expected to contribute to the development of graduates and other team members and share in mentoring these key people in the business.
- You will have the opportunity to become involved in tendering for new clients and a range of advisory assignments.
- You will also be expected to assist with technical initiatives and to contribute to our significant business development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Audit planning
- Day to day management of field teams
- Review of audit work
- Liaison with key client staff
- Management of reporting requirements, including attendance at meetings.
- Lead teams on challenging engagements, including transaction and project work
- Develop and mentor members of staff
- Involvement in tendering for new clients

REQUIREMENTS

- Educated to degree level
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience with ISRE clients will be an advantage
