Audit Manager/Assistant Manager

I am currently looking for an experienced Audit Manager/Assistant Manager for an initial 2 month contract for a Financials Services client of mine. We need qualified candidates (ACA, ACCA) who hold external auditing experience, ideally from one of the larger practices as well as experience conducting Audits within Banking

My client are looking to expand their team by attracting high performing new members, and are currently seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to support this demanding and rapidly expanding business. Responsibilities
As a member of the team, reporting to a Senior Manager or Director/ Partner, you will:
*Manage client relationships, planning and delivering a range of Internal Audit services
*Construct and supervise audit teams
*Drive our continuous improvement in our Audit methodology
*Participate in our marketing and sales campaigns
*To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Requirements
A successful candidate will possess the following:
*Experience of working within the Audit department of a large Financial Services organisation
*Experience of managing small to medium sized Audit engagements, leading Audit teams and reporting to business management
*Candidates will ideally be Auditors or Accountants
*Knowledge of Auditing techniques including Risk assessment, Audit scoping, devising Audit approach, controls testing, substantive Audit testing including sampling techniques
*Report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills including good written and verbal communications
*Team leadership skills
*Management and organisational skills
*Proven ability to use initiative, adapt and independently solve problems
*Flexibility to travel
