Audiologist

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Senior Audiologist for a contract position for the Laois, Offaly, Longford regions. Working with a multi-disciplinary team you will be working with a client group ranging from newborns to adults so experience in newborn hearing screening is essential.

Responsibilities:
-Arrange and carry out assessment and treatment / intervention programmes in appropriate settings (e.g. clinic, home, school, day centre) in line with local guidelines.
-Be responsible and accountable for provision of comprehensive audio diagnostic assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitative treatment / intervention programmes for service users.
-Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.
-Attend clinics and participate in relevant meetings, case conferences as appropriate.

Qualifications and experience:
- Candidates must have a relevant qualification with at least three years satisfactory post qualification experience.
-Provide evidence of audiological competence.
-Experience with digital hearing aids including familiarity with NOAH and DSL procedures and Hearing Aid verification methods including REM`s.
-Experience and proficient in hearing assessment of direct access audiology patients, including appropriate management and onward referral to appropriate professionals of patients with hearing loss.
