Audio Visual Design Consultant

This government organisation requires an Audio Visual Technology Design Consultant to research and develop specifications for a number of audio visual solutions and manage the implementation of a range of Video Conferencing, Sound Reinforcement, Audio Recording, and Digital Playback installation and equipment roll out projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Apply sound project management disciplines to installing and implementing audio, video and multimedia facilities.
- Provide leadership and manage project team and project resources.
- Perform detailed testing and audit quality of integration work.
- You will be required to travel across NSW and remain onsite for the duration if installation projects and the position may also require on call and/or work outside of standard office hours.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Proven experience as a project manager delivering Audio Visual projects.
- Experience in delivery of IT Infrastructure or hardware.
- Sound technical knowledge with Audio, Video, Multimedia and Video conferencing Systems (digital and analogue domains).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound interpersonal skills.
- The ability to establish strong working relationships with teams and stakeholders, providing guidance, leadership, skills-sharing opportunities and team mentoring.
- Experience working within the government sector is highly advantageous.
