Atoll Design Engineer in Dallas or Chicago

ATOLL DESIGN ENGINEER

- Extensive Atoll experience - including repeaters & ability to import GIS data.
- Basic knowledge/understanding of DAS equipment (no significant expertise necessary)
- Working knowledge of RF design fundamentals (link budgets, antenna theory, passive components, pathloss, RSSI vs RSRP, etc.)
- CDMA/UMTS/LTE Background (Most importantly knows basics of pilot signals for each & overhead)

We will provide on-the-job training for Crown-specific tools & processes.

In general, job responsibilities will include:

- Atoll designs & re-designs (Create RSRP, best server, etc. plots as needed)
- Standard VZ Small Cell RFP responses/RF Design packages
- CW test coordination

o scheduling contractors to do testing

o specifying technical requirements & parameters for testing

o supervising in field when needed

o data post-processing

o creating PowerPoints for Derek, Jordan, or RF team to present to customers

- Manage Atoll workspace/CW database

o Leverage skills to keep an accurate database of past projects, CWs, etc. so we can respond to requests more quickly & accurately

- If there's downtime in RFP/Designs/CW, assist RF team with:

o Creating RF Approval forms

o Tasks & data entry in Crown's internal tracking databases
