The Rural Payments Agency has a unique role within the UK. We pay farmers, traders and land owners over £2 billion each year to support a thriving farming and food sector. We also manage over 40 schemes to help ensure our communities are healthy. From carrying out thousands of inspections and checks to managing cattle tracing, our work is keeping the rural economy strong.

In this high-profile analytical role, you'll offer support, advice and guidance across a portfolio of information rights activities.
This is a high-profile role in one of the government's emerging professions. Your day-to-day focus will be on case management for requests covered by the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations. You'll offer support, advice and guidance across a portfolio of information rights activities - ensuring people across the organisation have the understanding they need.

As well as excellent decision-making skills and a talent for using and exploiting knowledge and information, you'll need a clear understanding of the relevant Acts and Regulations.
