Asterisk Developer/Systems Engineer, 3-6 Month Contract

ASTERISK DEVELOPER/SYSTEMS ENGINEER (VOIP), 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT!

This is a new and exciting opportunity for an Asterisk Developer/Systems Engineer to join a successful company in St Albans who are specialists in the Telecoms field. This role aims make a real difference to the company at an exciting time of growth, and is initially a 3-6 month contract position.

We are seeking someone with advanced experience of Asterisk (support, development, build and maintenance) as well as VoIP, networking and Linux skills.

FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ASTERISK DEVELOPER/SYSTEMS ENGINEER (VOIP):

- Audit and analyse the current infrastructure and advise a solution to improve this with the use of Asterisk Servers and development
- Gather requirements, produce functional designs as well carry out programming and testing

KEY SKILLS NEEDED:

- Networking engineering experience (with a focus on VoIP and telephony services)
- Asterisk experience - Dial Plans, Servers, configuration and development
- Advanced Linux and MySQL experience
- Good client support skills with outstanding communication skills!
- A pro-active attitude

This role will allow the right candidate to influence the infrastructure environment and help the company move into a new area of technology.

CONTRACT DURATION: 3-6 months

DAY RATE: £350 - £450 (depending on experience)

LOCATION: St Albans, Hertfordshire
