ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST I needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.

- This position requires a demonstration of solid working knowledge of molecular biology techniques.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We are seeking an experienced molecular biologist who can contribute to our protein expression/purification group by designing and generating expression constructs for a broad class of therapeutically important recombinant proteins.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The qualified candidate is expected to have strong technical skills in molecular biology techniques including conventional PCR-based cDNA cloning, mutagenesis, gene SOEing as well as restriction enzyme-independent cloning methodologies.
- Previous research experience in recombinant protein expression is a plus.
- A successful candidate is to meet the following essential qualifications and expected to start contributing to the group immediately.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology or life science-related discipline

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous Full time industry or academic lab bench work experience in molecular biology is preferred.
- Ability to perform cDNA cloning, mutagenesis, expression vector construction independently and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Vector NTI software.
- Multitasking and good organization skills are essential.
