Associate Scientist with profound Chromatography and Spectroscopy knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Absolved Lab Technician training, Master degree in Chemistry or related field, alternatively 3+ years of equivalent practice in the industry
- Profound knowledge of chromatography, including analytical and preparative chromatography such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) as well as of Basic Mass Spectrometry and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR)
- Extensive data analysis, interpretation, and documentation skills with specific experience in standard chemical and analytical software, such as ChemDraw, MestReNova, ACDLabs, ChemStation and XCalibur
- Strong understanding of organic chemistry and basic analytical chemistry along with ambition to grow scientifically
- Good technical skills in supporting exploratory work and projects with manual laboratory and routine work
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Participating in the research team, focusing on the structure determination of small molecules and related byproducts
- Collaborating with a dynamic team in applying LC-MS, preparative Chromatography and NMR
- Solving scientific problems and committing to high quality to support structure determination and investigations
- Handling operation and maintenance of lab instrumentation and software
