Associate Scientist

For our client, a well-named pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for Associate Scientist with analytical background.

Job Description:

The Particle Lab provides analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects by using modern test methods for particle characterization. As part of a service lab you will work at several interfaces (e. g. formulation/process development, physio-chemical analytics). You will not only plan and perform routine analyses and evaluate and document the results, but also be responsible for maintenance of lab equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

- Laboratory technician or BS degree in relevant life science discipline
- Experience in protein analytics
- Experience in the field of particle characterization
- Analytical background and hands on proteins
- Critical and objective interpretation of results and scientific information
- Good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of MS Office

Soft Skills:

- Interested in learning new instrumentation
- Good organizational communicational and team skills

Beneficial Skills:

- Programming skills (eg R, Mat lab)
