Associate Director Pharmacovigilance- Global CRO- Geneva

An international CRO with office locations spread globally are searching for an Associate Director within their expanding Pharmacovigilance department. Within this role the successful applicant will manage both personel and projects for international company objectives. This will be achieved in accordance with senior executives, project team leaders and staff within the European Pharmacovigilance functions. Process management and organisational work flow will be a key responsibility, as will be improving software, reporting, documentation submissions and logistics. Management of staff is another key function of this position. This will start with recruitment, training and development of individuals. In addition team metrics should be established and monitored and then continued into staff evaluations and appraisals. A third aspect of the role includes the corporate growth of the PV department. You will attend in conferences, many of which will be international, meet clients face to face, act as a central specialist for a multitude of events and occurences and also work with the proposal team for the creation of new business and the protection of current clients. For this diverse and challenging position, I am looking for a candidate with at least 7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, EU PV regulations and EU legislation. You should have strong knowledge of the CRO industry, ideally having worked for a CRO in the past. You should have lead teams and be a good communicator. Finally you need a Medical Background and to speak fluent English- French is an advantage but not mandatory.
