BUSINESS LAW/ASSOCIATE ANALYST/PROPERTY LAW/IT
The Associate/Operations Analyst (Contracts) will also be responsible for maintaining our Source Code Escrow accounts, reviewing open source software requests and shrink-wrap software license acquisitions, and Internet downloads.
Position Requirements And Education:
BA/B.S., preferably in business, law, or information technology;
3 years paralegal or similar experience in computer and intellectual property law and contracts with law firm or corporation; or law degree;
Experience with Technology Outsourcing transactions is preferable;
The candidate should have strong project management and organization skills;
The candidate will be required to skillfully draft documents and revise agreements based on business deal parameters;
The candidate will be required to balance a high volume of multiple projects simultaneously, always moving projects forward and keeping Technology Law Staff and Business Units advised of status;
The candidate must be responsive, have excellent written and oral communications, work well with attorneys and information technology business personnel, and be able to effectively communicate in order to understand business deal requirements;
The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment which demands rapid turnaround time on work;
The candidate must have the ability to identify, analyze and summarize contract terms and conditions and contract issues;
The candidate should have expertise and extensive experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Lotus Notes; and
Fluency in Japanese a positive.
