Assistant Team Manager | Older People | Herts

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager to join the Older People's and Physical Disabilities Team in Apsley, Hertfordshire.

Your main duties will include
- Assisting the team manager to manage the day to day running of the team
- Managing senior practitioners, social workers, occupational therapists and unqualified staff working in the community
- Assisting in the processing of social care referrals, managing the waiting list for the Watford area and making decisions
- Chairing Safeguarding meetings

You will have supervisory experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

You should hold a recognised Social Work Qualification, be HCPC registered and have access to your own transport.
