ASSISTANT SCIENTIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Collegeville, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Working as part of a team responsible for the daily production and the operation of solid sample area including fulfilling request orders, receiving, distributing and storing of sample submissions from chemists with sample weighing as the primary task of the position.
- Follows written procedures and maintains accurate records
- Effectively communicate results of work to supervisor and others
- Maintains instruments in good working order and reports safety and maintenance problem to supervisor
- Ability to work with technologies and automation
- Can assume responsibility for some specific lab or technical functions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or BA degree in Chemistry/Biology/Engineering or equivalent required, completed courses in organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology or engineering highly desirable.
- Must be have a good attention to detail and be highly organized
- Capable of prioritizing multiple job functions
- Good IT skills are required
- Expertise in the operation of liquid handling systems and other automation equipment is desirable
