Assistant Manufacturing Technician - Bio Process Job

ASSISTANT MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN - BIO PROCESS needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Oceanside, CA.

- Responsible for completing assigned tasks which include cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping glassware
- Work with senior technicians and leads
- May also include stocking, inventory and environmental monitoring

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Manufacturing department by working effectively to meet department goals, objectives and tasks to achieve desired results.
- Responsible for completing assigned tasks which include cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping glassware and parts used in the manufacturing environment.
- Work with senior technicians and leads to prioritize tasks and assignments and make recommendations to maximize efficiency and productivity based on shift needs.
- May also include stocking, inventory and environmental monitoring.
- Will be asked to use pallet jacks.
- Mechanically inclined and is able to meet the physical demands of weighing materials and transporting items on pallet jacks on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn fast will be key.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills and have experience and knowledge in a GMP environment.
- Must be a self-starter with strong focus on quality, details, results and application of cGMP.
- Must be able to work weekends and off shift.
- More than 25lbs of lifting may be required
- MEDICAL TESTING REQUIREMENTS: VISION, HEARING, RESPIRATOR EVALUATION AND FIT TEST

- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering or equivalent education with work experience
