This role will focus primarily on the administration of the collective agreement through the prompt and thorough investigation of grievances and handling of minor employee relation matters.

DUTIES:
1. Works closely with the Labor Relations (LR) and Local Site HR Manager by supporting the administration of the local collective agreement. Promptly investigates grievances in accordance with established labor practices and strategies. Engages Labor Relations and HR Manager as needed to ensure strong working relationships are built and/or maintained at the local level with union leadership.
2. Responsible for providing LR and HR guidance to all employees within their defined scope. Support HR Manager and site leadership team in areas such as talent management, talent acquisition, compensation administration, training, completion, and employee engagement activities.
3. Ensures that LR and HR policies and practices are administered in a consistent and professional manner and will take necessary steps to ensure that positive employee relations are maintained at the site.
4. Interfaces daily with employees, HR Manager and local suites leadership teams, and LR representatives. Requires strong linkage to local HR Coordinator
5. Secondary responsibility for 400 unionized hourly employees

SKILLS:
REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Human Resources Experience 3-5 years
- Labor Relations - minimum of 2 years
- Preferred: Experience in manufacturing environment
