Assistant Finance Manager, Edinburgh, Banking, £230 per day A key banking client in Edinburgh urgently requires an Assistant Finance Manager to own the month end reporting process for the Mortgages Finance team on a 3 month rolling contract paying £230 per day. You will have the following essential experience: Owning the month end reporting process including subsidiary companies, where applicable. Developing relationships with stakeholders to ensure receipt and provision of information Preparation of monthly management accounts Preparation of monthly journals Completion of monthly ledger verifications Completion of monthly regulatory returns and returns for Group Finance as appropriate Year end and quarterly reporting of investments/subsidiaries, including: Completion of quarterly Standard Accounting Returns ('SARs') and submission to Group Finance to aid preparation of statutory accounts (Quarterly) Liaison with Business Unit contacts to collate information required for reporting (Quarterly) Input into budget and forecast as appropriate (Quarterly) Preparation of statutory financial statements for subsidiary companies (Annually) Preparation of working papers for external auditors (Annually) Liaison with external auditors (Annually) Valuations work/activity as relevant to your portfolio If you meet the requirements of this role, please send in your CV ASAP as there are interview slots.
