An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join the Insurance Financial Control Team at team at Lloyd's Banking Group in Bristol. The purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with the insurance divisions regulatory and statutory reporting requirements. Your focus will be primarily for non-life reporting with some project based support as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regulatory reporting

- Preparation to deadline of insurance based regulatory returns including ABI, CoCo, EIOPA, IGD, ONS, PRA, Solvency I and Solvency II.
- Focused stakeholder management of multiple hand-ins of information to tight timescales.
- Adherence to, and relevant challenge of, existing procedures which ensures both inbound and outbound financial information is correct and free from material error.
- Continuously develop inherited processes in the most efficient manner possible.

Statutory reporting

- Preparation to deadline of annual IFRS accounts for up to 23 Non-Life entities.
- Thorough understanding and comprehension of reporting entities activities.
- Detailed and concise communication of entity performance using board paper format.
- Managing communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tax and audit compliance is achieved.
- Standardisation of inherited processes with high attention to detail and controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Finance degree (2:1 or above)
- Financial services background
- Recent insurance background ( 2 years +)
- Strong work ethic - deadline driven
