Assistant Finance Manager

Our client, is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance and Commercial Manager in a financial and administrative capacity, to work efficiently and provide an effective support function to the finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for those people who are looking at making that step up into a Finance management role working within a global organisation

Main Responsibilities are:

Project Reporting
*Responsible for updating and maintaining project financial model.
*Preparing periodic reports for both internal and external customers, to ensure contractual finance requirements are delivered to deadline.
*The individual will be required to develop an excellent working relationship with the operational delivery team in order to understand the project requirements and provide necessary support.
*Preparing statistical analysis to assist with the production of quarterly and annual forecasts.
*Supporting the Finance and Commercial Manager in improving the quality and timeliness of reporting.

Financial Management
*Ensuring that all project costs and revenues are captured and correctly accounted for through maintaining project accounting model and reviewing SAP.
*Preparation of period end accounting adjustments.
*Raising Sales Orders/Invoices on SAP for project revenues and intercompany recharges.
*Reviewing P&L and balance sheet accounts and ensuring that the financial models and SAP are reconciled.

Qualifications:
*Part qualified CIMA/ACCA, or possessing relevant experience and skills.
*Previous experience of SAP desirable
*Strong Excel Skills
*Financial modelling experience
*Attention to detail and accuracy.
*Possesses an appropriate level of experience in a financial capacity and demonstrates an understanding of financial processes.
*Computer literate.
