Asset Management Functional Consultant - SAP MM

OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGEMENT PROCESS CONSULTANT (WITH BACKGROUND IN SAP MATERIALS MANAGEMENT ) TO PROVIDE EXPERTISE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EAM SAP SOLUTION AND BE STRONG IN MANAGING END TO END ASSET MANAGEMENT RELATED PROCESSES.

Your duties:

- Development and review of a range of design deliverables including functional/business requirements and process
- Integration of EAM solution where appropriate with other elements of the overall program, including Back Office functions and also with EAM support systems (GIS, CAD)
- Working with technical teams to ensure appropriate design and technical strategies are identified
- Provide direction, guidance and input into project design decisions
- Work closely with the subject matter experts from across the transport agencies in the assessment of standard processes, including gap analysis and impact assessment

Your background:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant Materials Management experience in highly regulated industries or sectors
- Extensive experience in process solution work in SAP MM in large ERP implementations, including QM
- RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN THE SAP MM module, PREFERABLY ECC6
- Demonstrated experience with Inventory Management, warehouse management, rotables and Materials resource planning functionality for both high volume and technically complex engineering materials
- Public Sector experience highly regarded as will exposure to asset intensive industries
- Deep understanding of cross functional integration point issues eg PM/CO
- Demonstrated experience leading and implementing business process design recommendations and changes with a high level of analytical and problem solving capability
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
