We're looking for someone to provide managers with the tools and support required to make great recruitment decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Severn Trent Water employees over 5,500 people from a wide range of backgrounds including Scientists, maintenance workers, contact centre staff, administrators and engineers. Behind each successful appointment is a dedicated resourcing team focusing on giving the best recruitment experience to both hiring managers and candidates.

As part of this role you will design the assessment tools (interview scripts, case studies, group exercises, role plays) for roles across the business and at different levels to help ensure that managers are able to gather enough evidence to make a robust recruitment decision.

We have a on-site recruitment team, who filter CVs and pre-screen candidates, you will work closely with them; designing their telephone screening questions and advising on the use of SHL tests

When line managers are ready to recruit you will support them to develop robust job specifications, we run interview training sessions for both new and experienced managers, you will lead these sessions on a regular basis and assist managers in interview panels and at assessment.

ABOUT YOU

We're seeking someone with experience working in an in-house recruitment role; dealing with recruiting at all levels of the business from new managers to Directors.

You'll have an In-depth experience using and designing different assessment tools and techniques for a varied range of business areas including screening questions, interviews, presentations and case studies. Due to the SHL support needed for this role, it is essential you will have SHL Level A and B or equivalent.

The ability to engage with our stakeholders and line managers is essential, you will be passionate about recruitment and helping managers make the best decisions possible.
