Assessed Site Engineer

1 Overall purpose
The Site Engineer is responsible for the Quality and Technical follow up of a site in construction included Radio equipment. It consists Outdoor and Indoor sites

2 Responsibilities and Authorities

2.1 RolesRND, ATND, Site Acquisition, CW Design, CW Construction, Installation&Integration, Initial Tuning including Acceptance.
" Solving problems escalated by Subcontractors
" Consult subcontractors of site related requirements
" Control rectification of installation defects
" Inspection of work done by subcontractors
" Collect Site documentation for Acceptance
" Coordinate and drive Acceptance
" Escalate problems to Roll Out Manager
" Continuously provide input for SiteHandler through the site building process
" Ensure that the sub-contractors' installation staff works according to instructions given by Ericsson

2.2 Authorities
The Site Engineer shall have sufficient authorization rights in the corporate environment to be able to efficiently execute the described role.

3 Reports to
The Site Engineer reports to the Roll Out Manager.

" Internal: All Functional Units within the project
" External: External authorities: governmental or private, with an impact on the project

5 Required competence
" Ericsson and customer standards and procedures:
" Site Acquisition
" Civil Works
" Antenna & feeder installation
" NodeB Installation
" NodeB Integration
" Acceptance
" Document preparation and control
" Technical knowledge in Power
" Sub-contractor management
" Operational rollout experience
" Language: Dutch or French and English communication skills
" One of the engineers should have experience in Health and Safety area.

6 Required education and experience
At least 2 years of experience with turn-key rollout projects, preferably with interaction with outside plant/civil works.
