ASP.NET/Java Developer for Multinational Institution in the Hague/Neth

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ASP.NET AND JAVA DEVELOPER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE/NETHERLANDS.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES REQUIRED :

- The consultant will provide services to the team responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of our Service Management tooling in production. The solution is based on iET Solutions Enterprise Server and iET ITSM tools.
- The consultant shall integrate new service requests for implementation into the delivered solution. These Service requests are required by the Service Management areas relating to Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.

DELIVERABLES:

- Assist in the development, integration and maintenance of the Service Management suite of applications running on iET Enterprise.
- Maintain in Production the suite of iET applications that support the Service Management processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Several years of experience in the IT service management environment.
- Knowledge of using Web services or SOA.
- Proven experience of OBJECT-ORIENTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT WITH JAVA, C # AND ASP.NET.
- Practical experience of databases and DATABASE DESIGN USING MS-SQL SERVER.
- Create functional and technical concepts for an in-house implementation of iET Enterprise Application Server.
- Ability to analyse customer requirements and translate these in to Technical solutions.
- Very good in English (spoken and written)

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Experience with agile project management methodologies using Prince2.
- Certification/appreciation of ITIL Foundation V3.
- Methodical approach to development and Application Support.
- Analytical thinking and ability to work in a constructive team environment.
