ASP.Net (C# or VB.Net) developer needed in the Knowsley (Liverpool) area for a coming looking to expand their web services department.

In this role you will be spear heading web developer utilising the latest technologies and you will be involved in everything from the initial design stage to the development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical initiatives as assigned.
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings
- Gather and translate functional requirements into effective solutions meeting business objectives
- Provide strategic guidance on features that will drive customer satisfaction
- Recommend new technologies to efficiently address organisation's needs

Skills needed:

- 3-5 years experience in web application development in a corporate or educational environment
- 3+ years of hands on experience in ASP.NET with C# or VB.Net
- 3+ years of hands on experience with HTML and a scripting language
- Hands on experience with Visual Studio or another integrated development environment
- 3+ years of hands-on SQL programming (stored procedures, triggers, etc).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented development
- Good HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Experience with source control (e.g. Subversion) and typical SDLC team processes
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage tasks and operate within a project-managed environment in a dynamic, fast paced organisation
