ASP.NET C# Application Developer

Position Requirements:

The position is for an experienced ASP.NET/C# developer with 4+ years of professional experience in similar roles. Expertise in desktop .NET C# development is a plus but not required. Candidate should have achieved a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems. Specific experience in rewriting existing ColdFusion applications in ASP.NET is desired. Past experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of ColdFusion code would be useful too.

Candidate must be proficient in SQL Server to include designing tables to achieve business requirements. Candidate must be proficient in requirements analysis and elicitation of requirements from business stakeholders. This position will not be aligned to a single project. The position will involve work on multiple projects, often multiple at one time in various stages of the development life cycle. Some project assignments will be under the direction/guidance of another developer and some assignments will be solo. Experience with PHP is a plus but not required. Experience developing complex interactive user interfaces with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. Proficiency in jQuery, CSS, JavaScript, and breaking down user interface artwork in to HTML and CSS is required. Experience developing interactive courseware or interfacing with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus but not required. Familiarity with Team Foundation Server is a plus.

Besides contributing to new projects, the candidate needs to be able to maintain and enhance existing code with minimal direction. Problem Solving is critical for success in this position. Candidate should have experience with secure coding practices namely mitigation strategies for the current OWASP top ten.
