ASIC Architect (m/f/d)

* Mission:
* Define ASIC/SoC architectures in cooperation with System-, HW- and SW team
* Define architectures for best fit on performance, cost, schedule and effort
* Ensure overall ASIC features and function delivery

* Job description:
* Technical responsibility of ASIC architecture for company ASICs
* Design, definition and decomposition of ASIC architectures including specification in the form of requirements and interface definitions
* Analyze, conceptualize and review internal and external requirements and their impact on the ASIC architecture
* Presenting technical solutions and their system performance to the customer and internal management
* Contact person for internal and external customers as well as functional managers
* Perform software, hardware and ASIC design reviews and FMEA analysis
* Perform effort & complexity estimations
* Supporting Make/Buy decisions for ASIC components
* End to end ASIC simulation & verification and troubleshooting

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

* Several years of experience with system, HW and ASIC design, for embedded solutions and in the automotive industry
* Knowledge in development and documentation of system architectures, ideally with Enterprise Architect and SysML and DOORS
* Programming skills such as VHDL/HDL and model simulations in VHDL and Spice.
* Experience with vehicle bus systems (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, DSI)
* Fluent English, good German language skills
