Area Manager
Based North (anywhere based North East, North West, Yorks robust financial planning and monitoring takes place, and correct action taken quickly to ensure budgets are balanced
•To manage the resource requirements to deliver the business plan and achieve the desired outcomes for the Area.
•To work with colleagues across the business and in particular other Area Managers to achieve the most effective and efficient delivery of services that demonstrates value for money
•To contribute to the strategic planning process and overall management of the Division, ensuring that strategic plans are drawn up in line with departmental and corporate priorities
•To contribute to the business continuity processes and ensure individual service plans are in place to respond to civil contingencies/peace time emergencies in partnership with internal and external organisations, and that escalation plans are in place to meet unexpected pressures on the health and social care systems.
•To develop partnerships, and with Local Authorities in the Area as appropriate
•To promote and facilitate access to services and the involvement of service users, carers, families and communities.
•To brief and present reports to senior managers as required
•To represent the region at senior management level and to deputise as required for senior managers or peers.
•To work with Business Development to develop and implement new products and services throughout the Area.
•To work with Service managers to aspire to or maintain excellence within the regulatory and inspection framework by promoting best practice.
•To lead the service through future changes in structure, service re-design to ensure it is fit for purpose, encouraging a process of continuous improvement.
•To adhere to all the organisation's service standards, policies and procedures
•To comply with the data protection regulations, ensuring that information on clients remains confidential.
•To work collaboratively with fundraising and media and campaigns teams, sharing responsibility for the achievement of jointly agreed objectives, as appropriate.
•To administer and organise own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines and reporting requirements.
•To undertake any other tasks, duties or projects of this post and as directed by the designated line manager.
