Architectural Technician Revit

Eden Brown in partnership with a Leeds based multi disciplinary consultancy are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician capable of using REVIT to assist a Team of Architects in the delivery of Education schemes across northern England.

Key Responsibilities

-Supporting the design team from inception through to completion of projects
-Assist in drafting of documents for bids, expressions of interest and competitions
-Assisting in the preparation of concept scheme designs from Client briefs and working with other disciplines to test the validity of those designs
-Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media from 2D CAD and Autodesk Revit to the latest photorealistic 3D software packages
-Work as part of single or multi discipline team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages

Requirements

-HNC/HND Qualified Technician or RIBA Part 2 Qualified Architectural Assistant
-Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and ideally Revit with working knowledge of 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Sketchup
-Experience in the implementation of CAD standards
-Prior experience of working within an Architectural Practice or within a Consultancy Environment
-Be self motivated and capable of working and completing tasks independently as well as demonstrating strong team work skills
-Able to interpret information from engineering drawings and incorporate within architectural design.
-Be able to communicate effectively
-Able to demonstrate an adaptable and approachable approach to your role and demonstrate a willingness to develop your skills.
-Be flexible in respect of travel and location to meet the demands of project work
