Architect, Solution/Technical - Java, .Net, Agile - Contract - Herts

ARCHITECT, SOLUTION/TECHNICAL - JAVA, .NET, COUCHBASE, AGILE - CONTRACT - HERTFORDSHIRE

We are looking for a number of strong Agile Architects (Solutions Architects or Technical Architects) to join this highly regarded Agile software house based in Hertfordshire working on multiple large scale, customer facing, E-commerce projects.

The successful Architects will have extensive commercial experience architecting scalable web applications in solid Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) with a DevOps mind-set using Java and/or .NET technologies, REST APIs, NoSQL databases (Couchbase) and following/encouraging strict TDD or BDD.

This would be a great opportunity for an established Architect to join other likeminded Agile professionals in a highly experienced team.

KEY SKILLS:

- Java and/or .Net
- REST
- Large scale, customer facing, web project experience
- Scalable web applications
- NoSQL databases (Couchbase)
- TDD, BDD (Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium)
- Agile (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming)
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, understanding of DevOps culture
- Experience with another modern programming language would be a bonus (Scala, Ruby, Python, Perl, C# etc.)
- Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
