Architect or Specialist for Windows 8 Migration and SCCM

On behalf of a major Pharma client we are urgently looking for an Architect or Specialist for Windows 8 migration and SCCM for a challenging role till 30.04.2013 (contract/payroll) in Basel (Switzerland).
Project focus:
Build an SCCM 2012 Proof of Concept environment for designing and validating Windows 8 deployment and management solutions.
Our client has committed to Microsoft to join the Windows 8 First Wave Program and migrate up to 1'000 users to Windows 8 in 2013. Several PoCs are being conducted as needed on the Windows 8 platform to verify and further develop Use Cases, eg on slates or Windows-To-Go USB sticks.
Main duties:
- Successful build and maintain a functional SCCM 2012 PoC environment
- Deploy Windows 8 clients using Operating System Deployment functionality of SCCM 2012
- Assess and test the out-of-the-box functionality for automatic creation of Windows-To-Go sticks
- Deploy test packages to Windows 8 clients (including Windows-to-Go)
- Contribute to overall Windows 8 solution including Use Case design
- Assess and test the Windows InTune integration.
Required skills:
- Several years of experience in deploying OS with SCCM
- Very good NetApp and Storage Experiences
- several migration projects must have been realized under your expertise and supervision
- ability to cooperate with different levels and teams, reporting to stakeholders on the project's progress regularly
- fluent English, German skills would be a major plus.
Project details:
- Start: ASAP in January 2013
- Duration: until 30.04.2013
- Language: English (fluent), German is a plus
- Work place: Basel, 100% (40 hours per week), no remote or home-work option.
