My client has an urgent requirement for an architect/designer for a very long term contract opportunity in Brussels, Belgium.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
The specific tasks/activities under this request are:
. Analysis of the requirements.
. Prototyping
. Writing/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications
. Elaboration of test programs
. Definition and integration of technological components
. Integration with other applications
. Production of technical documentation
. Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
The successful candidate will fit this profile:
We are looking for a consultant with 13 years' experience and with 3 years of experience in the specific field outlined below.
More specifically, the required specific expertise includes:
. The technologies involved will be Java, J2EE, JSP, XML/XSL/XSLT, UML, JDBC, SQL and RDBMS - excellent know-how is a must.
. Very good knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, EJB, JPA, JMS, web services, JUnit and design patterns is required
. Knowledge of KendoUI, jQuery, ExtJS, Jasper Reports, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Bamboo, Apache Ant, Log4J, Oracle DB (PL/SQL), Oracle Weblogic, Eclipse IDE, Enterprise Architect and Rational Unified Process is an asset.
. Applying an appropriate quality assurance: unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, performance testing and code coverage checking.
