Arc FM Designer

ARC FM DESIGNER - IMMEDIATE START - 4 MONTH CONTRACT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Arc FM Designer to join a well known utilities and construction company on a 4 month tempirary contract (with the possibility to be extended to 6 months). This position is based in Stafford Road, Wolverhampton. The successful designer will produce construction drawings for the rehabilitation of existing gas main systems and provide support for the design team.

Key Responsibilities;

- Creation of Work Order parcels through ArcFm Designer
- Prepare base/construction/overview drawings on ArcFm Designer
- Production of detailed construction drawings based upon survey information
- Production of land referencing plans and other noticing plans
- Revisions to and re-issue of drawings as required
- Participate in multi-disciplinary project meetings
- Maintain a Construction Drawing database
- Assist the validation team where necessary to ensure efficient scheme closures
- Work as a member of the planning team, being prepared to undertake all of the tasks supporting the planning process
- Contribute towards the departments approach to continuous improvement and utilisation of information technology

Knowledge and Experience;

- An understanding of CDM and Health & Safety issues in the utility industry
- Knowledge of CAD/ArcFm capabilities
- A knowledge of utility construction and techniques used
- Excellent IT Skills in the use of Microsoft packages ie Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
- CAD/ArcFm designer skills - Refresher training will be provided.
