Appraisal Engineer

A national consultant engineering business is looking for an Appraisal Engineer to work within their operational team. The successful candidate will hold a relevant vocational qualification (MEng / MSC/ BEng / BSc / HNC or HND) in Civil Engineering. The company cover numerous facets throughout the Civil sector all of which are based around the production and construction of specific design work. The successful candidate will be based in Dorset, however various offices across the South West can be used to hot desk from a couple of times a week.

The role of Appraisal Engineer is necessary to ensure successful management and delivery of Flood Risk programs to meet the clients' project requirements and objectives within budget.

You will be expected to take the lead and provide cost effective Flood Risk Management, utilising your experience in developing schemes through to business case. This is the key dynamic of the position and it is essential that you have experience with Flood Risk, Sustainable Drainage and Project Management in order to fulfil the position.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Appraisal Engineer to work on high profile projects on a long term contract basis whilst progressing their career. The client is looking for candidates who are available immediately although they would be flexible depending on the candidate.

The role is expect to last until April 2014.

Qualifications:
Relevant vocational qualifications (MEng / MSC/ BEng / BSc / HNC or HND) in Civil Engineering.
