Application Support Analyst - Southampton - £30k - 32k I have a fantastic opportunity working for a Software house as a Application Support Analyst based in Southampton. Working in a large team that is accountable for delivery of IT applications, you as an Applications Support Analyst will be responsible for support of service recovery and you will understand systems architecture, business processes and application operations. You will work closely with 3rd line support and provide effective service delivery which meets agreed SLA's As a Application Support Analyst you will undertake incident, problem and change management. You will work in a production environment and aim to reduce incidents and user down time Technical Skills required: - Exposure in a Application / Production support environment - Technical skills in a multi application / platform environment, related to support and development of a application software. - Experience in a 24.7 support environment, flexible to work out of hours - Previous SQL / Oracle administration skills and experience, knowledge of databases - Strong customer service experience This is a great opportunity to work in a busy support environment and ideally for someone that comes from a production or applications support background with knowledge of databases.
