Job Description

Our client a Software Consultancy company requier an Applications Packager for an initial 3 month+ contract based in Manchester. The role requires a candidate who is proficient in collecting and authenticating application requirements and documenting the application configuration process prior to application packaging.

The role will require the candidate to carry out suitable installation testing and resolve any application issues or investigate alternative remediation solutions as part of the Process.

Skills required:

Career background to include App-V Sequencing with experience in providing problem solving and Application remediation

Can demonstrate knowledge of App-v 4.6 sp2, App-v 5, app-v management console, Wyse, Active Directory, virtual machines, windows registry, SCCM, AppSense

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7)

Experience of software implementations into medium and large enterprise businesses

Knowledge of industry best practices for App-V

Quality technical and reporting documentation

Able to manage own workloads, deal with high volumes of packages as part of BAU and Project work streams
