Applications Installer - NCR and PIM Applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handles application infrastructure setup, ongoing support, upgrades and enhancements for parts catalogs, NCR and PIM solutions, as well as ACM support.
- Installs/upgrades NCR, PIM applications.
- Supports underlying infrastructure changes to Servers, memory, security, databases etc.
- Performs System Admin functions.
- Supports and enhances system configurations.
- Ensures System Availability through the setup and use of System Monitors.
- Supports, enhances and develops Stylesheets.
- Develops and supports customization, background processes and integrations with other systems.

SKILLS

Must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of work experience as an IT Analyst. A successful candidate must have at least 6 years of IT experience which includes installing/upgrading third party software on Linux platform; developing, testing and supporting Java applications on a UNIX/Linux platform. Candidate must have good technical skills, with strong initiative, and must possess excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills. Desirable Qualifications: C, C#, PERL Script, Cognos reporting, GWT/GXT, Windows application installs and packaging, familiarity with XML, Stylesheets. Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications is a must.
