APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

LOCATION: BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

CONTRACT DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS

In support of the Cyber Security Fusion Center (CSFC) mission, the solutions engineering and analytics team is responsible for researching, developing and deploying various technologies. As such, desired staff members are responsible for developing various solutions and automation capabilities to support the timeliness and efficiency of visualizing the CSFC data that is gathered from a variety of heterogeneous sources. Specifically we are seeking seasoned developers to build an information-sharing environment using the RSA/Archer platform. The purpose of this is to facilitate an efficient threat and incident management operation through the secure exchange of event/threat/incident related data across multiple departments. The final product must be capable of acting as an orchestration layer, maintaining visibility into disparate processes run by other groups, requiring inherent flexibility in platform architecture and design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Thorough knowledge and hands on experience in Archer framework, products suite, customizations, Workflows, data feed manager etc.
- Ability to convert the Business Requirement in Archer Solution
- 4 or more years working in a development environment
- In depth experience in .NET and C#
- Expertise developing dynamic web pages (ASPX), windows services, and applications (console and windows forms).
- Expertise in developing and consuming WEB Services (REST and SOAP).
- Expertise in XML, JSON (and BSON) data formats.
- Expertise in integration with external system using different technologies (Web Services, REST, Databases, etc.).
- Thorough knowledge of VBScript, JavaScript, Excel Services and MS Access.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting operating systems, including Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server is a plus.
- Development of dashboards and reports
- Oversee and integrate multiple data feeds into the Archer platform
- In depth experience with Archer Web services.
- Understanding of Archer Data Feed manager.
- Expertise in XML translations (XSLT).
- Experience writing Perl, Python, Scripting, programming, or other languages
- In depth experience with Archer data feed manage to develop normalization scripts per a multitude of diverse data sources
- Should be well versed in using the out of the box Archer functionalities and ability to customize modules
- Understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure designs; including routing, Firewall functionality, host and network intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, load balancing, and other network protocols.
- Creation & setting-up of business user groups & roles for certain entities
- Attend regular conference calls with third party providers to review cyber threat deliverables, quality, and suggest improvements.
- Work with RSA to get information on the usage and any guidance necessary
- Analyze new data sources and create/modify code
- Should be a good team player and work independently in pressure situations.
- Ability to communicate technical effectively issues to technical and non-technical business representatives.
- Demonstrated capability to learn and adapt to new situations & requirements
-Self-driven desire to research current information security landscape.
- IT/IT security, preferably a 24x7 operational environment, or educational equivalent is a plus.

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong customer and quality-focus is a must.

- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
